Hawking, God, and the multiverse – is there room for God in cosmology?
An evening with Revd Professor David Wilkinson

Recent scientific discoveries have reshaped our understanding of the universe and what it means to be human. But can a faith that began in a pre-scientific age still speak with credibility today? Join us for an engaging talk and open Q&A exploring whether it is possible to be both a committed Christian and a serious scientist.

A panel discussion with Tim Farron MP, Bishop John Thomson, and Community Chaplain Lois Sparling

Our world feels increasingly unstable and divided. At the same time, our country faces new opportunities and challenges that affect every community — including ours. Does Christianity still have something vital to say? Join us for an evening with local Christians engaged in public service exploring how faith can shape our common life today.

‘A Question of Sport’ Quiz Night
A fun six round sports quiz with curry and a short talk about the Christian faith. With Ian Lancaster, Mission Director of Christians in Sport.
£5 per person, includes meal.

Community Ceilidh
with Stories of Faith
6–9.30pm, Sedbergh People’s Hall
Join us for a lively evening of dancing, delicious food, and inspiring personal stories of how faith makes a difference today. A welcoming event for all ages, young and old alike.
The event is free to attend, with a suggested donation of £5 on the night.
