PCC statement welcoming the announcement of Bishop Sarah Mullally as next Archbishop of Canterbury

The PCCs of Sedbergh and Lune and Dent with Cowgill warmly welcome the announcement that The Right Reverend Sarah Mullally, Bishop of London, will become the 106th Archbishop of Canterbury. We pray that she may be granted grace, wisdom, and courage in fulfilling this high calling. We also give thanks that she will be the first woman to hold this office, marking an important moment in the life of the Church of England.
