Notice of Annual Parochial Church Meetings 2026 (APCMs)

All are warmly invited to attend the upcoming Annual Parochial Church Meetings:

The Parish of Sedbergh and Lune APCM

• Monday, 27 April 2026 at 7.30pm

• St Andrew’s Church, Sedbergh

The Parish of Dent with Cowgill APCM

• Tuesday, 5 May 2026 at 7.00pm

• St Andrew’s Church, Dent

These meetings are convened for:

1. For election of parochial representatives of the laity to the Parochial Church Council.

2. For the appointment of the Independent Examiner or Auditor.

3. For the consideration of: 

   1. a report on changes to the Roll since the last annual parochial church meeting;

   2. an Annual Report on the proceedings of the parochial church council and the activities of the parish generally;

   3. the financial statements of the council for the year ending on the 31st December preceding the meeting;

   4. the annual report on the fabric, goods and ornaments of the church or churches of the parish;

   5. a report of the proceedings of the deanery synod; and

   6. other matters of parochial or general Church interest.
