After School Club

Throughout the school year we aim to run a range of after school clubs in Sedbergh and Dent on different themes. In the spring term we ran ‘Wild Lent’ club in both Sedbergh and Dent and in the first half of the summer term ‘Faith Builders’ in Dent only. This half term we will be offering ‘Messy Science Club’ in Dent on Wednesdays and Sedbergh on Fridays.

“Messy Science” - After School Club

In June and July we will be exploring faith questions through science. Each session we will have fun doing two or three science activities related to a Bible story and based around a particular theme such as ‘light and colour’ or ‘earth, stars and space’.

In Dent, the club will take place in the Memorial Hall on Wednesdays 11th, 18th and 25th June and 2nd and 9th July from 3.15-4.15pm and we will collect the children from their classroom at the end of the school day.

In Sedbergh, the club will take place at Cornerstone Community Church on Fridays 13th and 20th June and 4th and 11th July from 3.30pm-5.00pm. There is an option for children to be collected from Sedbergh Primary School at 3.30pm and walked to the venue.

Children will be given a drink and snack upon arrival at the club.
